SED’s direct-to-plate process has replaced expensive, time-consuming conventional platemaking. The result is a more cost-effective process that simplifies platemaking and eliminates potential problems. SED’s direct-to-plate process uses a laser platesetter to expose the plate, eliminating the dotgain and defects seen in previous generations of the process.
