BINDERY
& FINISHING |
Perfect binding is commonly used for:
Smith-Edwards-Dunlap typically uses perfect binding for books, corporate and annual reports, manuals, directories, and brochures. Compared to other commercial printing binding methods, perfect binding is quite durable and is available at a cost-effective price. It can be used with a variety of printed publications that have a thin width as well as those that are several inches thick. To determine exact cover measurements and avoid potential problems, SED produces mock-ups of the finished product. We utilize the same stock and adhesive that will be used for the perfect binding process to ensure accurate results. These mock-ups serve as one of our many standard quality checks that are performed throughout the commercial printing process. In addition to perfect binding, Smith-Edwards-Dunlap, Philadelphia’s leading commercial company, provides a wide range of bindery and finishing services, which include folding, saddle stitching, die cutting, wafer sealing, collating, shrink wrapping, and letterpress. With all services done in-house, clients receive consistent, high-quality products at a rapid turnaround.
