Collating and inserting is performed on two different machines in our mailroom.
Prefinished components of same or variable sizes are assembled and inserted into
#10 envelopes on our Philipsburg Inserter. Letter-sized work can be both folded,
gathered, and inserted on our Neopost SI76 Folder/Inserter. This equipment is
ideal for statement and invoice work, an additional service that we offer.
As
a commercial printing company that serves clients based nationally
and regionally in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, and
Maryland, Smith-Edwards-Dunlap offers collating based on customer specifications
and requirements. Collating in conjunction with SED’s other bindery
and finishing services has a distinct advantage in greater material
flexibility, fewer spoilage problems, better production efficiency,
and much more.
With well over half a century of experience in the commercial printing
business, we have extended our capabilities from conventional labor-intensive
hand work to modern computer-based collating systems. By continually
researching and investing in the latest advancments in collating machines,
we have been able to reach a level of quality control that makes address-specific
delivery much more operator friendly for faster outputs at lower prices.
